This animation was created with the intent of implementing Cinema 4D’s toon shader in an exciting way. This is just a simple 3D project that I created as a way to explore new techniques and grow as a 3D artist.

I started by creating a plain and then animating it so that it would “grow” in the Y position, creating a standard landscape model. Then I applied the linear gradient shader and toon and sketch shader to affect the model as it moved through the Y-axis from a flat plane to a mountainous landscape.
